You’re engaged!! And you’ve spent countless hours scouring pinterest to make your mood board. You’ve booked your venue and some other vendors, and now you’re 6 months out from the big day! It’s time to get your engagement shoot done so you can send out those save the dates! 

Now the 6 month rule applies for a local wedding. A recommended time for you to send out your save the dates for a destination wedding would be around 8 months out!

Hot tips: 

• For perfect weather and lighting, go out during golden hour! Coordinate with your photographer for the best time to get out there. 
• Pack a neutral outfit! You can never go wrong with earth tones wherever you are. 
• Ask your photographer about film! We’re going back to the 90’s and film is making it’s way back! Look how cute they turn out!
